Left 4 Dead 2 was released in November 2009 on PC and Xbox 360. In August, other old games of the company received updates – Team Fortress Classic, Counter-Strike 1.6, and the original Half-Life. They fixed bugs and some other technical problems. They were sourced from Tyler McVicker, author of the famous Valve News Network. Back in June, the developers began updating the private version of Left 4 Dead 2 for internal purposes and testing the mysterious map. In a new video, McVicker emphasized that the release of the update could “herald a new chapter in the history of Valve,” which once stopped creating content with members of the fan community. The announcement did not come as a surprise: earlier rumors about a large portion of new content for Left 4 Dead 2 spread across the web.
